The Managing Director, Integrated Data Services Limited (IDSL), Engr. Diepiriye Tariah, during a recent familiarization visit to the company’s Data Processing Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, lauded staff at the processing centre, for their performance in the success stories of the company’s operations.

The Managing Director disclosed to the staff that his visit was to inspire them to do more, disclosing that he had set a target for them which he hoped they would meet without any shortcomings.

While also urging the staff to be efficient and effective in order to win its competitors, the Managing Director said new ways could be introduced to do old things to get more efficient result and better productivity.

He said that part of his mission in IDSL was to create an enabling environment for all staff and that plans were already on-going to ensure a conducive environment and working conditions for staff.

He stated that in order for the staff not to feel left out of happenings in the IDSL’s Head Office, he would ensure that all information and happenings are passed down to the centre through the appropriate channels.

He pledged his support to the staff and challenged them to see themselves differently, in terms of generating revenue, as they had the potentials to do a lot and more in that regard, just as the Data Acquisition Department does.

He stated further that IDSL is the “early bird of the value chain” and that by virtue of being at the forefront of the Oil and Gas business, there was need to reposition the company to attract more clients and capture more share in the business.

Engr Diepiriye also said that in order to make profitability key, the Management team is looking at options to increase the company’s revenue and cut down on its costs.

The Acting Manager, DPD, Mr. Victor Gbenro, expressed profound appreciation to the Managing Director on his visit to the Centre and stated that the Centre is the second revenue generating section of IDSL that has also produced a good number of staff who are functioning remarkably.

Mr. Gbenro assured the Managing Director that all staff in the Centre will be at their best to ensure a productive output for the company.
